Our Backyard Bees
Just to share our excitement, I have captured this on video for our journal. This is the second time we have opened our hive to see what has been happening. We have a one month old collected swarm. So far soo good. You will see the lovely clean comb they have made on the first frame Mat handles, as well as a lucky spot of the Queen who we found out at our Beekeeping club is a Caucasian Queen. Gentle ladies they are noted to be, you will see from the video how calm they are.. just doing their thing.
In case you missed the Queen - here is she is again!
The lovely hummmmm of our Bees :)
